Metres for men shalwar kameez
Men unstitched fabrics only work if the length matches the body you will stitch. These are the metres we sell, and how to keep the cloth after it leaves us.
How many metres
- 4mtr Slimmer kameez, average height, no extra flare.
- 4.25 (default) What most men in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad actually need.
- 4.5 (bit extra) A little more room in the kameez or shalwar.
- 5 (extra drape) Taller frames, a fuller shalwar, or extra drape.
Unstitched means your karigar decides the silhouette. Tell them collar or round neck, straight or slightly roomy shalwar. If you are unsure, WhatsApp a photo of a kameez you already wear. We will suggest a length. 4.25 m is where we start for most men shalwar kameez. A length can cost a little more or less than the listed colour price. That is set on each variety.
Keeping men unstitched fabrics
Wash darks together. Give white its own first few cycles. Hang men unstitched cotton lawn in shade. Pakistani sun is not gentle on colour. Boski prefers dry clean or a very quiet hand wash. Karandi should not be wrung. Men unstitched wash and wear forgives a machine if the water is cold and the iron is low.
Black and white last years if you treat them as wardrobe architecture, not a trend piece. Keep them unstitched in the almirah so a fresh kameez can be cut when the old one thins.
